10/04/15: 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Not Created for Independence

In today's reading, we hear how the original man was lonely until God created a woman to be his complement. We were not created to be independent from one another but dependent on one another--this is what makes sense of our vocation: to married, to religious life, or to the priesthood.
