5-7-17: 4th Sunday of Easter: What Does the Voice of Jesus Sound Like?

Today is Good Shepherd Sunday, and the Church gives us readings every year on the 4th Sunday of Easter that remind us that Jesus is our Good Shepherd and we are his sheep. Jesus says in today's Gospel:

"the sheep hear the shepherd's voice,
as the shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
When he has driven out all his own,
he walks ahead of them, and the sheep follow him,
because they recognize his voice."

Jesus is calling us by name -- each one of his. Do we hear him? Do we recognize him? Do we respond?
