8/10/14: 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Holding on to God Amidst the Storm

In this Sunday's readings, we learn that God is different than the powerful forces of the world. He is not only different from these but more powerful than them. He rules over these. By learning to hear and hang on to God we too can experience peace and calm amidst the storm.
